My Story

I started in bookkeeping in 1991 to fill a role that no one wanted. At the time I never thought it would be something that I was good at but I wanted to help. That desire to help out has led me to a rewarding career. Bookkeeping, organization, not being afraid to do the small tasks (Grunt work), and doing what is necessary is where I excel. I worked in retail for 26 years and helped run and manage a company with 10 employees and $1.5 million in annual sales. I was instrumental in setting up the accounting, opening locations, payroll, and all the other tasks that came along with running the company. Recently my experience is working in a small law office. I found that I really enjoyed making many of the processes more efficient. I like to think that I was able to improve the office in many ways but what I really enjoyed was the bookkeeping and the monthly billing. In my opinion, billing is the most important task at a law office. Without on-time and consistent billing, I don't believe any law office would survive. Now I would like to see how I can help other companies and people Narrow the GAAP between where they are now and where they want to be.
